“Change your perception and the world will change with it.”

I live in Portland, Oregon…a gem of a place I call home. As a long time event planner, I’ve learned to accept my type A personality as a gift rather than a curse, as it has been the catalyst to creating many lovely memories for people and I’ve had fun doing so in the process! But, I’ve also learned over the years to make the most of every day life. It’s not just the BIG moments that deserve the special attention…it’s the every day little things (often overlooked and probably many times considered mundane) that deserve some attention too. It’s when I began to see the beauty in the simple pleasures of life (and even in the difficult times) that life started to become a whole lot better and easier for me. There is a whole world of people, places, things, and moments ready for us to celebrate, so I say, let’s do it!

My intention for this blog is to share the ideas and wonders that power me in everyday life, the small and the big stuff, in hopes that it will inspire those who read and view.

I’ve made it my little project to bring a camera with me most of the time so I can capture some of those things – big and little – to share with you. What made me smile today? What made me cry? I have no photography experience, but it has been a very fun project for me.

If something in your life (big or little) has made you want to celebrate, please never hesitate to send me info about it! I love to celebrate with and for people too!

XO,

Keely

Hi ladypants!! I’m so sorry to hear you’ve been ill! I’ve been off the radar, reading and writing and building my own blog to be like you! I love your writings and musings and YOU! xo-k (as soon as I figure out how to link you to my new page, I’m going to!)

ps, wait – there is a thing I’m about to write about that I can’t wait to tell you about. A web site where you can write an e-mail to your future self and it will actually be delivered – as late as 2037 if you want!! I know you’re going to want to do this right now, just like me! Here’s the link: http://futureme.org/
